    From Mr. William Schooley:

    "While downloading the newest additions to the criminal jury instructions, I came across an Michigan Judicial Institute website that has a collection of questions and answers on sentencing guideline scoring issues. While it's not authoritative to the point of being citable, it's a good place to start for WCCDBA members who  may have guideline questions. The site is organized by OV's and PRV's with prior Q&A's embedded in them."

    In the February Bar Journal (pg. 75), the State Bar reported that it’s supporting the

    proposed amendment of MRE 404(b)

    STATUS: Comment Period Expires 3/1/17;

    POSITION: Support

    The comment period ends 1 March 2017. If the WCCDBA  or any of the members, have any thoughts or comments to letting the 404(b) “notice be given orally in open court” you may want to let the State Bar and the Supreme Court know before 1 March 2017
